Carroll Gazette Second Year Anniversary
The Carroll Gazette will celebrate two years of being in existence on the net, come January 26, 2012. During the past two
years the Carroll Gazette web presence has expanded into the major social networks, feeding our publications of original content
which included video, site updates and the news of our staff's adventures.
Our latest domain name purchase was, bluesvillegazette.com
(Bluesville Gazette), which is an online newspaper featuring real people straight from the surreal streets of Bluesville.
We
also expanded into the dot-net realm with the carrollgazette.net (Carroll Gazette Publishing), which is a WordPress site that
will feature our writers work.
Much of the original material that we look forward to publishing on our sites already
exist on the net on various websites, such as YouTube and Go Animate, but it has not been organized. That is our goal
as we enter the third year of publishing.
Here you'll learn all about me: my interests and hobbies, the people in my family, my pets, and more. I've even included
a list of my favorite links to other sites.
On this home page, I'll introduce myself and talk about my reasons
for wanting a web site. I might put a picture of myself on this page...or just a picture that I especially like.
What's New?
Here I might add an entry whenever I make an update to my web site.
Where appropriate, I'll include a link to the change. For example:
I just had to unpublish this site because I used a "free" Banner Snack (bannersnack.com) and it embedded a code
and I could not remove it or move it around in the template. So I had to unpublish the Carroll Gazette site and rebuild!
SNAP!
It would be nice to try free "samples" of software before purchasing online, but when their code takes
over, not funny.
I think I learned this. Buy software in the box, at a store! And buy a credible, trusted name in the
software business.
Any one who has gumption knows what it is, and any one who hasn't can never know what it is. So there is no need of defining
it.
