About the word gazette: "We are indebted to the Italians for the idea of newspapers.
The title of their gazettas was, perhaps, derived from gazzera, a magpie [bird] or chatterer; or, more probably, from a farthing
coin, peculiar to the city of Venice, called gazetta, which was the connom price of the newspapers. Another
etymologist is for deriving it from the Latin gaza, which would colloquially lengthen into gazetta, and signify a little treasury
of news. The Spanish derive it from the Latin gaza, and likewise their gazatero, and our

About the word Pamphleteer: The word "pamphleteer"
is first recorded in the 1640' and refers to a writer of pamphletes, unusually taking a partisan stand on public issues. What Is A Pamphleet? A "pamphlet" in the late 14TH century meant a "small,
unbound treatise", from Anglo-Latin panfletus, popular short form of "Pamphilus, seu de Amore" ("Pamphilus,
or about Love"), a short L. love poem of 12c., popular and widely copied in the Middle Ages; the name from Gk. pamhilos
"loved by all," fron pan- "all" + philos "lovng, dear." Meaning "brief work dealing with
questions of current interest" is late 16c. Pamphleteer (n.) is first recorded 1640's

Currently building the Carroll Gazette Videos page which will feature videos distribbuted by the Carroll Gazette "The
Modern Pamphleteer" ℠. Our fist project contracted is a series of guitar tutorials by Darkside Johnny featuirng the Minor Pentatonic scale. This page is currently available on the web so that links in other websites
can be completed. *We may also feature other videos or video artist that may have content unrelated to or not endorsed
by the Carroll Gazette "The Modern Pamphleteer" ℠. These links or videos may be posted for critical review.
